Privacy policy

Smart Attendance Systemis a school operations product: attendance, parent alerts, and related portals. Face recognition runs on the school's own computer. The cloud portal stores the school roster, attendance events, and notification records.

What we store

• Student and parent names, emails, and optional phone numbers
• Attendance timestamps (arrival / departure) and method (face, RFID, QR)
• Optional student photos for the kiosk and parent confirmation
• Face embeddings on the school database for on-site matching

What we do not do

• We do not sell student data
• We do not run covert tracking or hide the check-in app from the student
• Cameras stay on the school LAN — the public website cannot see live video

School responsibility

The school is the data controller for its students. Before going live, the school must obtain guardian consent for photos and face check-in, and keep a copy of that consent. Parents can ask the school to pause alerts or delete a child's record.
