This tester is not a live school day

Each person in front of the camera gets their own box and one IN. Step away, then come back for OUT. Several people can check in at the same time. Empty chairs and background are ignored.

Morning — one IN

Student walks through Gate A. Face or RFID matches once. Parent gets an arrived text. Standing in the camera again does not punch another IN.

During the day

That IN is the attendance record. Late marks, extra gates, and RFID fallback follow whatever the school set in the portal.

Dismissal — one OUT

Student leaves. One OUT. Parent gets a left-campus text. The same face looping on camera does not keep toggling all afternoon.

Every rule below is a portal setting. The school can change it anytime after go-live — no software update.

What stays on site

Cameras, face matching, and an optional GSM modem run on the school LAN. The public website never sees live video. After go-live, the gate PC talks to the cloud portal. Punch rules (IN only, OUT only, or auto), cooldown, and SMS wording are portal settings the school can change without a software update.
